Desolation
Ain't much here to hid a cache container in, so it should be reasonably easy to find. Similarly the cache currently contains only a logbook and pen only. There may be room for small items if you want to leave them.
Overall Difficulty: There isn't much to hid a cache in, well nothing but tussocks and rabbit burrows.
Terrain Difficulty: From the nearby car park, the terrain to the cache is somewhat steep, but not very far, less than 100m.
Container: The container is a 800mL snap-lock rectangular container.
Risks: Beware of the following: -
- The road being closed in winter
- Cold cold cold
