After the success of our previous series of caches in Sandwell Valley, we thought it would be a good idea to set up a series in Brum. As you may know Birmingham is made up of small districts known as Quarters, so we came up with a plan to place a cache in each Quarter:
The Jewellery Quarter
The Gun Quarter
The Irish Quarter
The Chinese Quarter
The Convention Quarter
The Millennium Quarter
The Business Quarter
The Millennium Quarter
The Millennium Quarter (Eastside) is a district of Birmingham City Centre, currently undergoing a major redevelopment project. The overall cost when completed is expected to be £6-8 billion over a period of ten years which will result in the creation of 12,000 jobs. 8,000 jobs are expected to be created during the construction period. It is part of the larger Big City Plan project.
Birmingham’s flagship Millennium project is located in Eastside, Millennium Point celebrates and encourages science, technology and education in Birmingham and the wider region
The cache is a micro and is located near to the new MassHouse development. There is only a log inside the container, so please bring a pen with you. We have tried to ensure that the co-ords are as accurate as possible. Please re-hide the cache carefully to avoid it getting muggled.
