Una dura salita che vi metterà alla prova...
An hard climb that will improve yourself...

La salita della Lombardona porta dal monte Lombardona (630m) a Monte Grande (462m), con un rettilineo di 750m e pendenza del 30%...una bella pettata !!
La cache è un contenitore lock'n'lock, e si trova circa a metà della salita, poco sopra il sentiero. Attenzione ai rovi !!!
Per raggiungere la cache si possono fare due vie:
- dal basso, prendendo la via della Verruca da Vicopisano (WP1) e girando a destra all'incrocio in località Monte Grande (WP2), seguendo il sentiero 00 per Monte Serra - Campo di Croce (fino a Monte Grande si può arrivare in auto, poi si deve andare a piedi per 1km circa);
- dall'alto, lasciando l'auto al parcheggio sul Monte Serra (WP3) e prendendo il sentiero sempre dritto per Prato all'Acqua, il Sasso della Dolorosa (sede della nostra cache La Croce) e infine arrivando alla Lombardona (sono circa 6km a piedi, ma si fanno bene)
A voi la scelta...un pò di salita ve la dovete fare comunque !!!

The slope of Lombardona goes from Monte Lombardona (630m) to Monte Grande (462m), with a straight of 750m and a gradient of 30%...an hard climb !!!
The cache is a lock'n'lock container, located in the middle of the slope, a bit over the path. Pay attention to thorns !!
To reach the cache there are two ways:
- from down, by the street for Verruca from Vicopisano (WP1), then turning right at the cross at Monte Grande (WP2) and following path 00 for Monte Serra - Campo di Croce (you can drive by car to Monte Grande, then you must walk for 1km);
- from up, starting from the park at Monte Serra (WP3) and following the path straight to Prato all'Acqua, Sasso della Dolorosa (here is another cache by us, La Croce) and then reaching Lombardona (it is 6km on foot, but easy to make)
The choice is yours....in every case you have to make a bit of slope !!!
