From this cache you have a great view of Bears Ears to the North. To the southwest is the Yampa Valley Regional Airport.
During the ski season aircraft as large as a 757 bring skiers to the Yampa Valley. In January 2009, A single engine airplane crashed about 1/2 mile Southwest of the Cache. Two people lost their lives that day. Please enjoy your travels through the Yampa Valley.
