This cache is on the Ponderosa Trail off of SR 38 in the San Bernardino National Forest. You might need a day parking pass to park here. It is on your way to or coming from Big Bear. Enjoy the hike on your way to the cache. There is a vista point just past the cache. On a nice day you have a great view. Also, there are some caches across the highway on another trail. You could get lucky and see some great wildlife. I don't know if there are any snakes in the area, so just be aware of your suroundings. The cache is a micro to a small size, with log only. Bring your own pen to write with. Have fun and a nice hike. Congrats to Badgerdawg for the FTF.
