An 'almost' drive-by for a 200ml sistema.
This reserve is known as "Blue Pool" and is very popular with locals from Briagolong, Stratford and Maffra. During summer this reserve is populated 24/7 with campers allowed in the southern area and day-trippers in the northern area where the cache is located. Just down the walking track is the Freestone Creek which forms a great swimming hole. There is also the 'famous' rocks at the northern end to jump off into the cooling waters. If hot - bring your bathers and snorkel!
Be very careful of muggles as a lot of silent walkers and bike riders use this area - often sneaking up without noise.
The cache is a 200ml sistema painted to blend in. Please replace as you found it. It contains small swaps, log note, notebook and pen.
If you have a couple of hours and are feeling fit why not try the other caches in the area. This spot is a great place to park the car and take the walk to the other caches - "Peregrine Paradise", "...and another point" and "Route 96" making it a great walking adventure.
Enjoy the cache and the others around this area.
