A letterbox hybrid means that you start at the posted coordinates and then follow directions to find the actual container. So:
1----From the posted coordinates, head west to the bench at the oak tree.
2----Sit down on the bench, look around, and admire the views (especially in springtime, when the park is very lush and green).
3----Then walk about 140 feet at about 170 degrees (mostly south).
4----Find the cache and log it.
5----Stamp your stamp in the logbook, along with your signature and date (or just sign it if you didn't bring one) and stamp the cache's stamp in your own notebook or paper.
6----Please replace the container upright, like you hopefully found it.
PLEASE DON'T TAKE THE STAMP AND STAMP PAD; THEY BELONG IN THE CACHE FOR THE NEXT CACHER TO USE!! THEY ARE NOT SWAG! You may trade other swag if you like.
This cache container and many of the contents were from a cache called "7 Finds @ Cronan" (GC2365W) by ecrane. Even the stamp pad, little stamp, and Travel Bug came as part of it. Thanks, ecrane! Ecrane says that the container belonged to Scoobert first, so thanks to Scoobert, too! It's an honor to be able to hide a cache from these guys, who are excellent cache-hiders!
This cache is in an odd little park that is attractive in its own way. There are walking paths that are wheelchair accessible, but the cache itself is probably just out of reach for a wheelchair-bound cacher, unfortunately. There is a $6 parking fee, but there is also room to park just outside the gate, and you can walk in. But keep in mind that the fee goes for a good cause!
There is a gold dollar for the FTF.
A big CONGRATULATIONS to ecrane for the FTF!! He is, after all, the perfect person to find it!
