This cache is located on BLM managed land. It is about 300 yards from an unimproved two-track road with an increase in elevation of about 200 feet. The cache rests at about 6500 feet above sea level. The terrain is rocky and includes sage brush.
A good view of Wildhorse reservoir with mountains in the background can be seen from the cache location. The cache container consists of a regular ammo-box. The original contents were items with a camping/outdoors theme.
