This cache has been archived.

Graculus: This cache has been disabled for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

Geocache Description:

This Cache is at one end of the park, just off a well kept field which is often used for picnics. There are a few small items in this cache to trade with. This is 1 of 3 that I have placed, would be a good day out, perfect place for a picnic, children and dogs. There are also 5 in whitecliff park which is less than a mile away which you could have a go at too.

Poole Park has for many years, since it was opened in 1890, been at the heart of the Town of Poole. From it's earliest days to today, it has been a peoples park.
It is as popular with families today as it ever was. Opened in 1890 by the Prince Of Wales, it was constructed on land donated by the then Lord Wimborne.

Poole park has 2 large ponds, and a rather large lake, which is full of ducks and other birds, so advisable to take bread with you if you are taking children with you. This one is a nice walk for all the family, you will see lots of wildlife, as the park is also full of squirrels and many types of birds. There are also several different types of gardens and picnic areas, and some small fields for football/frisbee playing.
