Geocache Description:

At the spectacular Kalamalka Lake Overlook just off Highway 97 near Vernon, BC. There is a short, moderate downhill to reach the cache area, where you should be out of view of muggles in the parking lot.

Look for the trails near the informational signs. Stay to the north (left looking out at the lake) of historical marker, the terrain gets steeper to the south. Cache is a small round plastic container. Watch for tiny cactus! All the area around Vernon is well known to be snake habitat, so watch carefully. You do not need to go through or into any brush to find this cache. Listen, look before you step and look before you put your hands under rocks. This cache replaces the Look Out! cache formerly near this location.
