Located in Greenwood Cemetery next to Watkins Glen. Please approach cache area from cemetery side only. Since it is very close to state land, I got permission from New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. Permit #WG-10-2.
Cache is dedicated to honor 3 memorials nearby:
1) The memory of Volunteer Firemen of Watkins Glen,
2) The memory of the deceased members of the Canadesaga Lodge I.O.O.F. No. 196
and the Seneca Lake Rebekah Lodge No. 428,
3) The Veterans from all Wars (from Seneca Post No. 555).
You are looking for a 10 inch tube with a log book, hidden well. No need to go down the nearby hill/cliff. Please BYOP (bring your own pen/pencil). Please rehide/cover cache well.
Since this is a cemetery, please respect the area and no night caching. The area is patrolled after hours.
