This geocache has been placed at the New Knoxville Community Park by the NK Community Park Association to commemorate and celebrate the Park's 20th anniversary.
The New Knoxville Community Park was established in 1990 and hosts the annual Fourth of July Celebration and Famous Fourth Fireworks Display. In addition, the New Knoxville-Washington Twp Fire Dept. held the first annual Fireman’s Picnic here in October 2009. The gazebo near the center of the park was recently rebuilt and completed in 2009.

The park can be very busy at times, especially in the late afternoons and evenings during the spring, summer and fall. Please use extreme stealth. The park closes at 11pm.
