Sanjo-zan is a mountain in Kyoto Yamashiro area having its elevation of 473.3m from where you can enjoy panoramic view of the Kei'Han'Na (Kyoto-Osaka-Nara border) region.
This series of chaches will navigate you to the top of the Mt. Sanjo-zan. The trail is going along the ridge with small inclination except near the top. it is very important to bring at least 1 litter of water with you because there is no water supply along the way.
Most of the trail is in shades of deep woods so that you can climb up the route even in the summer fairly comfortably.
To approach the entry point "Aidanishimo-bashi Bridge", you can drive up there and park near the bridge which I usually do. If you have a mountain bike, you may try to climb all the way up to the mountain.
