Geocache Description:

Bring a calculator or a pen and paper for this one.
Part armchair puzzle and part on site puzzle.
Cache is small, too big to be a micro. Inside could hold very small trade items and possibly micro bugs.

Had to replace original container as it had come dislodged from its hiding place and been almost destroyed.

In 1958 a group of frat boys decided to play a prank with a guy named Oliver. You have them to thank for this cache.

First, the armchair part.

You have to figure out who Oliver is and what his specific signifigance is to this puzzle. Don't worry, it'll be pretty obvious.

Second, after reading through the following instructions, go to the listed coords and follow them.

Multiply half the number you find at the cache coordinates by the year Columbus sailed the ocean blue (xx.xx). Your answer is the number of smoots you will be standing from the cache. Divide this number by 12. Now multiply by 1 smoot, in inches. Armed with this new knowledge, bear South(SSE-ish) for the indicated feet (plus or minus an ear) to find the cache.

No need to climb the hill or go over any fences. Cache has nothing to do with the cats in the area.
