The cache is on private property adjacent to a park maintained by the City of Bridgeport. The property owner has graciously allowed placement of the cache. It is not near any homes or structures. Parking available near boat launch ramp at Deegan Lake
This cache site can be quite scenic, especially when the leaves are off. The two nearby lakes used to be the reservoir for the city of Bridgeport and fed into a filtration plant near the current city hall on Main St. They are now used primarily for recreation and are stocked by West Virginia Department of Natural Resources for public fishing. The playground, paved trail and tennis courts are widely used in good weather.
