on our last visit to trout pont we decided to mix things up and
follow some trails we had not used before.
we started from the parking lot and took the brown trail, which
winds through dense woods and joins up with the blue trail at the
back of the preserve.
crossing the road i noticed another trail which leads up the
hill through some laurel and dogwood. a pretty spot, i thought, and
well deserving of a cache. this trail leads out around the golf
course down to old sag harbor road and the trails around "rush job
17".
so - come, hike the trail, and find a camo'd decon box with an
unactivated Metro NYGS geocoin for the FTF, some pathtags and a
bunch of trackables to trade
