matchyou: We went to the location today. It can be a serious bushwack to get out there. Unfortunately the cache is gone. The tree that encircled the cache is in serious decay as well and it appears as if a animal or group of them have started to use the tree as their own personal bathroom. With the severe drought this year the foliage is lighter than last year and the bushwack out here is not quite as severe.
I think that kids in the ajoining neighborhood regularly walk through this area from their backyards. As a result, I believe that the cache is gone for good and I would be hesitant to place another cache in this area because I think the kids would easily rediscover it. Sadly that leaves me with the option of archive.
