Welcome to my 1st cache! The title does not refer to any herbs, but merely the fact that finding one cache will often require the finding of others! For some caching truly is a "Gateway Drug."
This cache is located in South City Park in Opelousas. It is a great little park for all ages.
Park hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
South City Park has the following amenities:
* Swimming pool
* Tennis courts
* Playground
* Handicapped accessible playground
* Baseball fields
* Bar-b-que areas
* Large Pavilion
* Teen Center
* Neighborhood Center
* Donald Gardner Stadium
* RV Parking
You are searching for a small container that holds only a log and a small pencil. Muggles frequent this area most in the late afternoon and early evening, but the cache is secluded fairly well for search even during these times. Please note the park hours. Cache does require a decent walk to ground zero from parking area. This walk can be quite wet during rainy times.
I really think Opelousas needs more caches, and this one is a start! First to find gets a dollar!
