magicman/sewjourner: I'm just going to archive this. I guess there is no sense waiting for the snails pace progress on the bridge!

You are looking for a small, black container that is protected from the rain. It holds a logbook and pencil.
This cache is located on the old bridge just outside of Marathon. There is parking on the right, just before the start of the 7 mile bridge going south. Walking towards the cache you should see turtles, fish, rays and sharks. The cache is located about 3/4 of a mile from the parking lot. The bridge walk will take you to Pigeon Key, the old work camp for Flagler's Railroad workers. It is about 2 miles from the parking lot and they want an $11 admission fee to visit the island! It is a great walk. On your walk, notice the rails. They are the old train tracks! The views from the bridge are outstanding. Bikes are allowed on the bridge!
There is no charge to walk on the bridge.
