Geocache Description:

This cache is located on my favorite trail in this area. The trail is well-marked, but it is VERY muddy this time of year, so dress accordingly. The terrain rating reflects the possibility of mud or a washed out trail. There is no need to climb any trees.

This cache was supposed to be my first hide, but ended up being my second, due to the trail being completely washed out on my first attempt to hide it. When you reach the first fork in the trail, bear right. You will feel like you are going to go into someone's backyard, but the trail quickly veers back into the woods. Please be aware that a couple of tree limbs have fallen across the trail, but they are pretty easy to navigate around. I highly recommend taking the time to hike the rest of the trail, as it is beautiful. It is stocked with the normal cache stuff: log book and pencils, trade items, and a newly activated TB, "My Favorite Car". Due to the heavy tree cover I had some GPS issues, but it said the coords were good within 20 feet. Happy hunting!
