At a recent 10 year Anniversary event GC23XMB, G.O.N.I.L. gave away
door prizes to the lucky few who had their ticket "pulled from the
hat". As the tickets were drawn, the prizes dwindled down. Alas
there was only one prize left on the table...the one no one else
wanted. As fate can be a bit cruel sometimes, my ticket was drawn
as the final "winner".
What you are searching for today is that cammo'ed up consolation
prize. For those of you that were at that event, look closely at
the final cache container....you can still see a logo if you hold
it in the right light.
This is a 2 stage
multi. Stage 1 only has the coordinates for stage 2. PLEASE replace
stage 1 exactly as found. Stage 2 is less than 1 mile from Stage
1.
There might be some
light bushwacking and possibly burrs for the final depending on the
season, but nothing crazy.Once you get to the 2nd/final stage, use
your geosenses. Look around and ask yourself, where would I put a
cache?
Please DO NOT attempt any of this by stopping/parking on Airport
Road. Please find a suitable place to park off of Airport Road.
There is paved vehicle parking nearby and it is a fairly short and
easy walk if you only want to park once. PLEASE be careful of the
traffic. Airport Road is VERY busy and is frequently patrolled, so
even though it should be available 24/7, I personally wouldn't do
it at night. The caches are far enough away from the road itself.
You will have very limited "cover" as you do both stages so stealth
is required.
I am starting this one off with a Geocoin in the inventory. Please
remember the "trade even or trade up" philosophy of geocaching.
The lucky FTF cacher will get an unactivated GeoCache Buddy.
Congrats Sportcacher on FTF!
