Geocache Description:

21/04/2010 - I have replaced the cache and moved it slightly. Muggle factor will still be about the same, but the cache is probably a bit easier to find. It is now a magnetized eclipse tin. Coords updated through log entry.

The Big Fish

Welcome to my 19th cache hide... I have by no choice of my own, but because it was needed, made this cache a "Nano". It is a commercially available Nano, coloured for camouflage. Not to much else to say about it, it should not be to hard to find. The trouble you will have at this location is with muggles at various times. It can be very busy here....

It is worth checking out this link for some history on Tocumwal, as the big fish is a Tocumwal Icon, as is the glider nearby on top of the building.

Tocumwal History

A little history on the Big Fish

The Fish was first erected at the swimming pool in Murray Street in 1967. This area was once a part of the Boomerang Way and the Newell Highway. The fish was later moved to its present site. The Tocumwal Cod Fish was the second "Big Thing" in Australia. The Big Banana beat the Fish by a few months. In 1999 funds were provided to complete repairs on The Big Fish" as it was being vandalised.

Well, thats in in a nutshell, or should i say "Fish Egg".
