Welcome to Donald Macdonald Reserve, home of 2 sporting clubs, sea scouts, a fabulous kids playground, a nature reserve protecting locally significant orchids and soon to contain a skate park for the enthusiasts of the area. Should be an interesting combination! There are lots of little tracks, paths and almost tracks that the local kids have made throughout this area. Tread carefully and lightly.
The Reserve is an off leash area for the canine geocacher, but be aware the nature reserve fronting onto Haydens Rd is ON leash as there is flora significant to the area in there (the really precious area is fenced off & the cache is far from there for a reason). Apparently the tea tree isn't precious to the council as they have culled quite a lot of it, much to the dismay of the locals!
