Geocache Description:

Elevation 203.5 m

"Now it looks to me like the same old place
In the sky it looks like rain
The same old own with the same old streets
My address has not changed
You can find me there with the door shut tight
And the one wish that remains, Baby step back, baby step back
Either step up or step back"

The cache gets its name from Gordon Lightfoot's song "BABY STEP" BACK ". The song was released on Lightfoots album "Shadows".

Shadows is Lightfoot's 15th original album, released in 1982 on the Warner Brothers Records label. It peaked at #87 on the Billboard charts.

The album marked another significant turning point in Lightfoot's musical evolution. He moves further away from his acoustic roots through greater use of synthesisers and electric organ, marking his entry into the adult contemporary genre.

The album is softer in composition than its immediate predecessors with a return to slower, more introspective ballads as compared to the faster, country style of Lightfoot's mid-1970's albums.[citation needed]

Although a commercial failure, the album has received positive critical reviews.1

"Baby Step Back" peaked at #17 on the Adult Contemporary chart and at #50 on the Pop chart.

I plan to name all my caches after this great Canadian icon, so long as the area remotely resembles the text of the song.

Gordon reports that this song was written on the Golf course while he was thinking of his next swing. The cache is a lock and lock container covered in camo. Please log all attempts. Please place cache back as found to make winter friendly.
