Geocache Description:

I was in the Signal area camping and exploring. Decided to hide a cache in the historical Signal cemetery. I started to hide it under some stones covering one of the graves, but decided it might not be in good taste. Fortunately, I had a micro on me and hid it in a more respectful location.

As I said, the cache is a Micro, so you will need to bring your own pen or pencil. You will need an ATV or 4x4 to get to the cemetery. The most direct route from P.O.S. cache will try to take you into the wilderness area where vehicles are not allowed. But, if you head farther west in the wash, you will come to a BLM trail that will take you around the wilderness area. You will pass a couple of historic spots. Take your time and check them out. Once you get to the cemetery, please treat it with respect. You will be amazed at some of the dates on the markers. Also, you will notice all of the small unmarked graves. Presumably, they were children's graves.
