Ein-Yael is the name of the spring located next to the famous biblical zoo in Jerusalem.
The surroundings at Nahal Refaim consists of ancient terraces, a string, orchards, patches of irrigated and non-irrigated patches of agricultural land and some important Roman archeological findings (Villa Rustica) with beautiful mosaic walls and floors.
In a walking distance one can find the Ein-Yael Open Museum, ushering visitors info the world of those who lived in the Land of Israel in the times of the Bible and Mishnah, there you can get acquainted with daily life in those periods, by utilizing methods and materials used throughout history.
We recommend that every visitor of the cache
will write a short blessing for the young couple :-)
