Trees of Alabama Series: Chestnut Oak - (Quercus prinus Fagaceae). Deciduous hardwood found commonly in all regions of Alabama. Acorns eaten by game birds, deer, and many small mammals. There is a picture of a Chestnut Oak and it's leaves on the cache log. The container is a camoed pill bottle. Please return cache as found.
