Warriners Wood Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Warriners Wood is Woodland Trust with open access but few distinct paths and many fallen boughs left to provide cover for wildlife
In May, when this cache was first proposed, these woods were carpeted with bluebells. Now in late summer, the beech mast is starting to fall and the mossy paths are lush and still mainly untrodden and this little frequented area is an absolute joy. .
We have never seen ANY other walkers here and what paths there are can get overgrown and indistinct. You are as likely to follow deer tracks as those of walking boots.
This cache is close to one of these rather sketchy paths and please make extra efforts not to disturb the area and its vegetation.
Cache is a painted lock & Lock with pencils, log, trinkets and some info on the Woodland Trust.
Please replace and rehide with care.
