Every once in a while it is time to return to the basics of geocaching. The ABCs of Geocaching series will test you on your basic skills and maybe stretch you a little bit as well.
A is for Ammo Box. One of the most used tools for regular sized geocaches in hiking locations. Originally storing ammunition for the US military, they now hold log books, trade-able swag, and trackables.
This ammo box is located at one of the Shenandoah Valley's ammo box retailers. Cache was placed with permission from the owner and should not be a hard find. FTF is a nice prize!
