Big Ball Cache
This cache
is located near one of the Power Lines Series caches. I found this
ball when we stopped off at Powerlines Series #3 - did not see it
during our previous visit to the area - don't know how we missed
it!! The cache is located in the central area of Qatar. There is a
good quality dirt road that goes under the nearby power lines that
run from near the Singing Dunes through to Bu Samra. Where do you
think this ball comes from? Please post your ideas with you log -
it will be interesting to hear the different ideas and
perceptions.
Although the
road is not a black top it can be navigated with a sedan car if due
care is exercised whist driving. As with any cache or route that is
located in the desert area I will never advocate that they are
attempted alone or without sufficient preparation. That would mean
all the necessary water, food, back-up, etc that you would normally
do. I sincerely hope that you enjoy all the other caches in
the area while you are here - they abound.
