AdVenturing Crew
For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we’ll continue that journey into the next century.
AdVenturing Crew: The Venturing program is open to young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. It is a unique program because it uses extreme outdoor adventure and other Crew focused activities as a method for building character, peer-to-peer bonds, and independence. Geocaching Crews are a great addition to the Venturing Program! This cache is placed in hopes that all young men and women will venture forth to do great things.
The Northeast Illinois Council of the BSA, based in Highland Park, serves over 17,000 youth in Lake and northern Cook counties.
Park at Tower Road Boat Launch. A canoe or kayak is required to get to this cache. How close you can get via canoe depends on water levels. Wading may be required. Regardless it will be an AdVenture. Wear your PFD and bring a buddy for safety.
