Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series intended to showcase Wisconsin's Rustic Roads (W.R.R.). Wisconsin Legislature established the Rustic Roads program in 1973 to preserve what remains of Wisconsin's scenic, lightly traveled roads.

View from Ridges Road

Ridges Road begins at WIS 57 and continues to Point Drive and the Old Lighthouse Point Natural Area. It provides panoramic views of heavily wooded and lake shore areas.
The Old Lighthouse Point Natural Area and the Ridges Sanctuary Wildlife Area abound in wildlife and feature many rare native plants.

This cache will be hidden in the right-of-way somewhere along this Rustic Road.
Parking will be limited and traffic may be a concern at certain times as these roads do attract tourists - so take care. Once GZ is realized, the hide should be quite obvious. Please replace the cache as found. Have fun and thanks for coming.
Note: Cache will be OK in winter as long as there is not much snow.
