Zippler's Rhino Horn 2.0 Traditional Cache
Ninja Reviewer: As there has been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

This cache is located at its new location after a neighbor complained at its last location. It is not hard to find, it's all about getting there. I recommend good shoes and a hiking stick due to hills. I have listed helpful hints due to heavy tree cover.
I dedicate this one to my friend C.A. Zippler, who got me started in Geocaching. A few years ago, on one of Zippler's expeditions, he brought me back an object. I never knew what to do with it, until now. I have kept it for many years and now I give it back to Zippler and all you other cachers. I have now put the Rhino Horn in an ammo can so that tradable items and tractable items can be added.
The new location is located off the Greeneway down by the Savannah River. Parking is at Riverview Park Rec Center. It's just .33 miles down the Greeneway before you go off the path. Enter the woods at N33 30.322 W81.59.372. For those of you that have done "The Spanish Moss", this is the side of the creek you should have been on. The first notable place you will see at the top of the hill is an old Indian camp. The Chickasaw and the Creeks both were here and used this land as hunting and fishing grounds. As you go down the hill you will be on land not many people have seen. Right before you get to the river, you may see white tail deer, if you are quiet. When I planted this cache I saw 12 deer moving through the woods. When you almost reach the river, your coordinates will take you to a native palm tree growing wild in the woods. This one is a beauty, it reached its peak at around 30 feet and is the biggest one I have ever seen and there is no other one this size anywhere around. Start your search there at the base of the tree. The cache is located about thirty feet from this palm tree.****Please do not attempt this cache at night, you will have enough of a challenge in the daylight hours.
*******Congratulations to Objuan and EarlyBigBird on a well deserved FTF!!!!!!!!!
