Cache is located close to the exit of the subway (F train) and the
tram, and is very accessible; the only "terrain" you'll have to
face is grass.
this is currently the only cache in Roosevelt Island not
anymore; I made another one :). It is located nearer to the Queens
side of the island, and from the spot where it is hidden one will
have a nice view of the Queensbridge Park across the river, and of
course of the Queensboro bridge itself.
I highly recommend to visit the entire island too as it is a true
oasis in the midst of New York.
