Henderson Cemetery-Illinois Spirit Quest #123 Traditional Cache
Henderson Cemetery-Illinois Spirit Quest #123
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is located at the coordinates listed above, but
it is located outside of the cemetery proper. It is inside the tree
line on the northern edge of the cemetery which is owned by the
county. It is a small cache with a little room for trade items.
While at the cemetery, look around a bit. Many historical and
influential people rest here, like Stephan Osborn (Knox county's
first sheriff), Calvin Glass (land owner who platted most of
Henderson and donated the land for this cemetery and Jesse Witt (a
Revolutionary War soldier). Cemetery hours are from dawn until
dark. Please be respectful and follow cemetery rules while in the
cemetery and as always, be kind to the environment. Bring your own
pen and good luck.
