The Seanachai: Greetings from Geocaching.com,

While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you for a reasonable amount of time, we cannot do so indefinitely. In light of the lack of communication regarding this cache it has been archived to free up the area for new placements. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up this cache or any remaining bits as soon as possible. If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival and, if possible, I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute in the past and I am looking forward to your continued contributions to the sport of Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Formerly a tiny lock n lock box approximately 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch square. Contained within a larger round lock n lock container to improve weather resistance. I have now switched the container to a more unique M.T. Pool type of creation that is more natural and should blend into the surroundings better after the original container got muggled.

I hope all will take the time to read this description including those who are just concerned with the numbers.
This is our second attempt to place a cache here. Boot Group brought me to this area last winter in hopes of locating the cache that was originally here. When we realized there was no longer a cache in this spot, and not knowing the reason why, we decided to place a new one. Once we did the work and submitted it Mad Min informed us that the reason the old cache was removed was that the garden club who maintains this beautiful area had complained of careless cachers trampling the gardens while in search of the cache. Determined to bring cachers here that would appreciate the beauty of this place we came up with a safe area to hide a cache, a simple hide. "Number" people can grab the cache and run, those of us who like the incredible places that geocaching takes us to can walk the extra 500 feet to take it in.
TO GET THIS CACHE THERE IS NO REASON TO GO INTO THE GARDEN OR TO STEP OFF THE WALK WAY.
Cache is hidden approximately 60 feet in front and to the right of the entrance and is on the side of the public roadway.
My recommendation for fully enjoying this spot is to save a few minutes after finding the cache to enjoy the view from the picnic area overlooking the canal at the end of the park. The street you are looking for is Perry Ave. in Bourne, the park is called Three Mile Look, plenty of parking as it is a side road.
Bring a pen or a sharpie as the log is made of M.T's trademark waterproof vinyl and pencil will not work on it.
Enjoy.....

ON 3/17/11 I replaced the container and updated the coords for this cache due to the original container being removed during landscaping. It is still a simple hide and as before please do not walk on mulch or landscaped areas while searching
