Geocache Description:

This cache is a recreation of the original Wandering Pirate's Dream (GCJPNT) placed by Dreamer.

This original Wandering Pirate's Dream cache had two containers but the outer wooden box has degraded to the point where it no longer has a lid. The new inner container is an ammo box sitting inside what's left of the wooden box.

The initial cache contents include: fridge magnets, mini magnetic sculpture, colored pens, Firefly-themed buttons (WWJD and Wash Lives), geocaching lapel pin, colored dice, and a some plastic dog/cat figures.

The text below, including the clues to the Final as well as the hint, is verbatim from the original cache description:
---------------------------

The posted coordinates are on Alki Beach near the spot where the SeaFair Pirates come ashore every year. I doubt you will see any pirate ships during your hunt, but you should be able to locate the answers to the following questions about Alki Beach and some of the ships that used to stop there. These answers will lead you to the Wandering Pirate’s Dream, a wooden treasure chest.

A. What was the fourth number of the year the “City of Seattle” began taking people to Akli?
B. What was the cost of passage on the “City of Seattle”?
C. What was the third number of the year the “Falcon” carried 72,888 people to Alki?
D. What was the fourth number of the year ferry service was established between Alki and Manchester?
EF. What were the third and fourth numbers of the year a storm destroyed the Alki ferry landing?

The treasure chest is located at: N47 34.BFE, W122 24.CDA.

The cache is located in a park within walking distance of the beach. Reception was fairly good with my GPS consistently getting me to within 15 feet. The cache is about 30 feet off of the trail but if you approach it from the correct direction no bushwacking is required. If you come from the wrong direction you will encounter a lot of nettles so when you get close to the cache, look around for a good place to leave the trail.

Warning, my last hint is very specific so if you want a challenge, don’t translate it right away.
