We were just zig-zagging along the Palomar Divide Truck Trail and looked back and thought "wow we were there?" The zig zaggy road road looked pretty cool. Great views all around and not far from a popular hiking trailhead. We stopped to enjoy the view and place a cache.
4WD is not necessary, but a vehicle with clearance is preferable. The road may be closed during inclement weather. Recreational shooting is allowed in some parts on this trail, so be aware.
