This cache is dedicated to cavyman4 and (GC26ZD9) "where the Buffalo roamed."
I've never seen an old Tatonka roaming around here myself, but 150 years ago there were thousands of them. The Wapiti that also inhabited the area before they were driven from the plains can however, still be seen here occasionally during the winter months when they are trying to escape the mountain snows.
This cache is located near the southbound parking area on I-25. Consequently it is very trucker and RV friendly.
The cache may be inaccessible when snow is present.
