Geocache Description:

Parking is available at the park & ride in Sparta where Rt. 181 & 15 intersect. You can start by going up the large trail past the steel gate for a longer way around, or you can bushwack right off the bat by entering the woods directly across the street.

In a hunt for an abandoned mine, we decided to follow the water at one point and it took us near this area. Little did we know, it ended up being right near a trail; one of the old mine roads we assume.

The cache is a foot long section of PVC pipe with caps on either end. One cap is cemented down, so be sure to pull off the cap with our logo painted on. It may be tough, they're on pretty tight, but do some wiggling and it will slide off.

The cache is located in a large rock formation which from the right angle resembles a giant stegosaurus spine. Please rehide and recover it exactly as it was hidden!
