Das Arracher Moor - The Moor of Arrach
Moore bestehen aus Torf. Bei Wasserüberschuss im Boden siedeln sich
Torfmoose an. Diese wachsen stetig nach oben während die unteren
Teile absterben und als “Torf” konserviert
werden.
Im Arracher Moor wurden Torfmächtigkeiten von über 5,6 m
festgestellt.
Da das Torfwachstum im Schnitt nur 1 mm pro Jahr beträgt, ist das
Moor dort also mindestens 5600 Jahre alt.
Moors exist of peat. With water profit
in the ground peat mosses settle. These grow steadily upwards
during the lower parts die and as "a peat" are preserved. In the
Arracher moor peat thickness of more than 5.6 m was ascertained.
Because the peat growth amounts on an average to only 1 mm per
year, the moor is at least 5600 years old there.
Moore sind empfindlich! Durch Entwässerung oder Zufuhr von
Nährstoffen wandeln sich Moore schnell in andere weniger bedeutsame
Lebensraumtypen um. Im Arracher Moor leben Tiere und Pflanzen die
es nur hier gibt. Deshalb wurde das Moor als Naturschutzgebiet und
als Europäisches Naturerbe (Natura 2000 - FFH-Gebiet) streng
geschützt.
Durch den Schutz muss der Mensch bestimmte das Moor schädigende
Eingriffe unterlassen.

Tier- und Pflanzenarten im Arracher Moor einzigartig. Es handelt
sich um eines der letzten noch “lebenden” weil
wachsenden Moore Nordbayerns.

Eigentlich dürfte es das Arracher Moor gar nicht geben, da
sich Moore erst ab einer Niederschlagsmenge von 1200 mm/Jahr bilden
können. Die Tallage lässt aber nur etwa 900 mm zu. Das Arracher
Moor verdankt seine Entstehung einer Mischung aus Tallagenmoor
(durch Überschwemmungen des Weißen Regens) und
Hangquellmoor.
Actually, there mightn't be the Arracher
moor at all, because moors can form only from an amount of
precipitation of 1200 mm / years. However, the valley situation
admits only about 900 mm. The Arracher moor owes his origin of a
mixture of valley situation moor (by floods of the river "Weißer
Regen") and slope spring moor.
Der Moor Lehrpfad - The moor nature
trail
Aufgaben:
Gehe durch den Eingang (rosa Pfeil auf der Skizze) nach 15m ist auf
der linken Seite ein Infopavillon mit Infotafeln. Hier kannst Du 3
Fragen beantworten für die Vierte gehe über den Moorlehrpfad (an
der Gabelung links halten) es gibt 6 Infotafeln entlang des
befestigten Weges auf einer findest Du die Lösung für die letzte
Frage.
1.) Beantworte die Fragen an Hand der Infotafeln:
1. Moorarten sind erfinderisch, sie erschließen sich neue
Nährstoffquellen durch Fleischfressende Pflanzen. z.B. ____?
2. Die komplexen Zusammenhänge der Tier und Pflanzenwelt werden
durch Puzzleteile dargestellt, welche Aufschrift hat das
hellblaue/hellgraue Puzzleteil?
3. Vor ca. 6000Jahren ist der Beginn des Arracher Moors, was ist
gemäß der Tafel ca. 5000 v.Chr. eingewandert?
4. Ein Bewohner des Moores hat zu Fangbeinen umgeformte
Vorderschenkel und seine Atemröhre am Hinterleib. Wie heißt
er?
Baue aus den Antworten eine E-Mail-Adresse zusammen: z.B. aus
Birke, Sand, Mensch und Biene wird: birkesandmenschbiene@web.de
(Achtung, die hier genannten Wörter sind natürlich nicht richtig!).
Es gilt: ä = ae, ö = oe, ü = ue, ß = ss
2.) Sende eine Mail mit deinem GC-Namen (Nickname) in der
Betreff-Zeile (damit ich nicht jede Mail öffnen muss) an
diese E-Mail-Adresse.
Du erhälst dann umgehend eine Antwortmail (=
"Abwesenheitsnotiz").
Sollte dies aus technischen Gründen einmal nicht der Fall sein,
versuche es doch bitte zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt noch
einmal.
Prüfe auch deinen Spam-Ordner, möglicherweise ist die Antwortmail
dorthin verschoben worden.
3.) Neben den Infotafeln entlang des Moorlehrpfades stehen
mehrere Glasbilder. Mache bitte ein Bild von dir oder deinem GPS
vor einem Glasbild deiner Wahl (wähle einen größeren Ausschnitt,
damit man das Moor auch deutlich erkennt!!!). Stelle dieses Foto
hier bei gc.com ein.
Sollte eine dieser Aufgaben nicht erfüllt werden, wird der Log
kommentarlos gelöscht.

left side an info pavilion with info boards. Here you can answer 3
questions for the fourth goes about the moor nature trail (hold on
the left in the fork) there are 6 info boards along the fastened
way on one you find the solution for the last question.
1.) Answer the questions to hand of the info boards:
1. Moor kinds are inventive, they disclose new nutrient springs by
carnivorous plants. e.g., ____?
2. The complicated connections the animal and plant world are shown
with jigsaw parts which label has the light blue/ light gray jigsaw
part?
3. Before approx. 6000years is the beginning of the Arracher moor
what has immigrated according to the board approx. in 5000
B.C.?
4. An inhabitant of the moor has transformed front thighs to catch
legs and his breath tube in the abdomen. What is his name?
Assemble from the answers an e-mail address: e.g., from birch,
sand, human and bee becomes: birchsandhumanbee@web.de (attention,
the words called here aren't right of course!). It is worth: all
words are in german: ä = ae, ö = oe, ü = ue, ß = ss
2.) Send a mail with your GC name (Nickname) in the reference
line (so that I mustn't open any mail) to this e-mail
address.
You get immediately an answer mail (= "absence note").
Should this not be for technical reasons once the case,
nevertheless, it tries please at a later time once again.
Check also your Spam folder, the answer mail has been possibly
shifted there.
3.) Beside the info boards along the moor nature trail stand
several glass pictures. Make a picture of you and your GPS before a
glass picture of your choice, please (chooses a bigger cutting,
with it one recognises the moor also clearly!!!). Put this photo
here with gc.com.
