Geocache Description:

Herøybrua ble åpnet av Kong Olav V, 4 september 1976. Plaketten finner du i berget på andre sia i forhold til cachens gjemmested. Brua er 544 m lang og rager 32 m over havflaten.

The Herøy bridge (Herøybrua) was opened by King Olav V, on the 4th of september 1976. The plaque you will find in the rock on the other side of the bridge in relation to the cache.

Det er en rasteplass særdeles nære brua og cachen. Vegen svinger ved avkjørselen, så vis varsomhet når du svinger inn og ut av denne plassen.
Cachen er en kamuflert liten plastikkboks. Den inneholder en loggbok, penn og et par byttegjenstander.

There is a parking spot very close to the bridge and the cache. The road makes a turn at this point, so take care when turning in or out of this parking.
The cache is a small camouflaged plastic box. It contains a logbook, pen and a couple trading items.
