It's time once again to meet for some meat. Our 6th annual summer get-together. I'm listing the event early because several people have asked me when it was, so other events could be planned.
WHEN: Saturday July 17th, starting at 6 pm.
WHERE: It will be held at Hillbilly's BBQ restaurant. They have your typical BBQ fare of chopped meat, sliced meat, rib meat and chicken meat. They also have steaks, sandwiches, a salad bar and other lighter dishes. Don't get too confused by the event's name, it's not on the river. I just picked that name to show it's halfway between Charlotte and Gastonia.
TRAVEL BUGS & COINS: Feel free to bring them and swap them.
DOOR PRIZES: I will have a few door prizes for the event. If anyone else wants to donate something please let me know or just bring them. You never know what else we'll have to give away (Hint - pack your pockets and purses for the scavenger hunt)
SMALL PRINT: Please post a note letting me know how many people will be attending. We will have our own area/room but I need to let them know about how many are coming so they can have enough tables set up. So please - if you think you might come, please sign up, even if it's the night before.
