Geocache Description:

This is just one of 68 of these sites we drive by every day in BC, rely on every day, but probably never notice (or know what they are). *NOTE - you do not have to enter the restricted fenced area to retrieve the cache.

Hidden at this site is a small cache which offers a small challenge to accessing its log book (without destroying the container). Hopefully a gentle tug on it's 'handle' will let you access the log. Remember to bring your own pencil (BYOP). Please try to leave the cache as you found it - it's flexible but made of delicate stuff and requires some dexterity to retreive and replace. Use the 'handle' on the log container to remove and replace - it should be pointing out toward you to give you something to grasp. This site has been provided by the BC Ministry of Transportation and when this cache was placed there were a total of 68 such sites throughout BC. This particular site provides hourly updates on one of the things us Canadians love to obsess about and one surprising tidbit about the road you have to drive on to get there. Check out the BC Transportation website for more info using the name on the sign at this site as a reference. *NOTE - cache can be located and retrieved without entering the restricted gravel pit area. Take a roundabout path to ground zero.
