Geocache Description:

Welcome to the short lived village of Parkersburg.

One day while on a caching run with Cheech Gang and Mighty_Mo, I happened to drive by this little piece of history. The Williams County Historical Society thought Parkersburg was important enough for it to be remembered so here is your chance to learn all about it. Please take the time to read the plaque. I especially like the note about the walnut tree! I bet that produced a lot of nuts!
