In an effort to become the wealthiest pirates in all of the
geo-sea, the Two Geopirates, Captain Peg Leg Davey and his first
mate Red Roxy have decided to focus their energy on tracking down
some of the most renowned stashes of buried treasure in the
world. When their holds
have filled with swag, the Two Geopirates themselves have placed
many treasure caches all across the geo-sea. Well, some of the most infamous
pirates have done the same over the years, and to find and collect
their legendary loot would make Peg Leg Davey and Red Roxy rich
beyond their wildest dreams.
The first stash they wish to find is that of the Irish Lady pirate,
Grace O’Malley.
Descendant from a mighty powerful Irish family, Grace ruled over
forts and castles all along the western coast of the Emerald Isle,
as well as a fleet of pirate ships. No prim and proper Irish lady,
Grace was known all over the geo-sea. When attacking a Spanish vessel,
Grace was said to have crashed onto the deck in her night clothes,
brandishing pistol and cutlass. Legend says that the Spanish gave
up without so much as firing a shot, thinking Grace was a crazed
ghost!

With a reputation like hers, Grace was able to pillage and plunder
countless ships in her days at sea. The story goes that she actually
buried over nine tons of treasure in a secret locale. As you steer your caching vessel
towards the supposed location of Grace O’Malley’s
buried hoard, tread carefully because legend also says that the
fearsome lady pirate laid a nasty curse on anyone who would dare
disturb her wealth!
To find the first cache in this series, steer your caching vessel
towards the safe harbor of Grose Park. You must then disembark and seek
the buried treasure on foot. It be a nice sized trove, able to
accommodate a healthy stash of geoswag. Be the first to brave
Grace’s curse and find this treasure stash and ye’ll be
rewarded with a shiny gold doubloon! Feel free to bring the mini
geopirates ashore as well, for there be many things to occupy them
before and after the search. There also be an additional
multi-stage treasure cache to track down within the
park.
Lastly, The Two Geopirates would like to dedicate this cache to
fellow treasure hunters Tom Kat and Nanncyan, as a humble
geopirate’s apology for sending these hearty sailors on a
wild goose chase in days past! Now, man the capstan, weigh anchor
and enjoy the hunt!
