Sword Play Traditional Cache

KaiMok: This was one of my first hides. It was fun using artificial sword fern fronds to create the structure to which a bison tube was attached. Over the years it needed to be moved a bit. One time a trail maintenance crew dumped a load of stuff over the bank and it just happened to totally cover the cache. By digging a bit I was able to find it. Now it seems that Sword Play is gone. Space now in the area for another creative cache in the woods along the Cedar River.

Geocache Description:


This cache is located in a woodsy area along the Cedar River Trail between Renton and Maple Valley. This is the third version of "the sword."

This cache can be reached by walking or bicycling on the trail. The cache is less than ten feet from the edge of the pavement on the river side and about three feet down the slope.

If you find this cache please handle it gently and replace it as you found it.

Parking is available at the spot listed or at other access points along the trail.
