Geocache Description:

Rescued by the Oxford-Lafayette County Heritage Foundation in 2004, this national landmark is located just a few blocks from the Courthouse Square. Its head-to-toe restoration was completed in spring 2008, including a landscaping facelift for its three acre site. The modest Greek revival house was built and lived in by statesman Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar between 1869-1888.
