Geocache Description:

Local Woman Creates Stopover for Tupperware-Travelling Bugs
Forest Free Press
May 19, 2010

If you’re like Bri, then you love to find and trade trackable items like travel bugs and geocoins!

That’s why she has created the Milton Travel Bug Rest Stop.

“After I noticed that Milton doesn’t have a travel bug or coin hotel or anything like that, I thought, well, why don’t I make one?” Bri reports from her Milton-area home.

Milton is home to many dedicated geocachers, and many would love to see their hometown have an easily accessible place where other geocachers from inside and outside of Milton can also find homes for their travel bugs and coins to move along. This is where the idea for the Milton Travel Bug Rest Stop was born. Milton is a medium-sized town right along North America’s busiest highway, the 401, therefore what better place to have a travel bug exchange, then right off this highway, like a rest stop? Travel bugs and coins from near and far can come to the rest stop to be exchanged for other travel bugs and coins that geocachers passing through may decide to leave.

“Personally, I think this would really put Milton on the map!” exclaims Bri with joy.

The Milton Travel Bug Rest Stop geocache is just off the highway 401 at exit 324 (James Snow Parkway). Please come and let your travel bugs enjoy the camouflaged lock ‘n’ lock container, while you sign the log for posterity.
