Gorgey Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Team Casho: Not sure of this one is still ok or not as unable to check ourself and haven't organize anyone to check at this stage.
Due to number of DNF it may have been cleaned up by the gardeners.
So as like many other southern caches it is now time to go and make room for another and more smiles.
Thanks to all who have stopped and found this cache and those that didn't but still took the time to look.
Should anyone locate the cache in the future you are more then welcome to recycle the cache container (please just post a note so other may see).
If not found before our next visit we will stop by and check and remove if still in place.

Geocache Description:

This is a place that we drive by often and always say it needs a cache. Looking at the quick facts taken from the Bingarra Gourge web site it will be an interesting area when completed. I would say this will not be the only cache in the area once it is completed.

Quick Facts on the Estate

Year commenced: 2006

Expected completion: 2020

Location:

60 minutes south-west from Sydney CBD and 25 minutes from Wollongong's beaches.

Facts:

Upon completion Bingara Gorge will cover 450 hectares comprising approximately 1,165 dwellings with a population of approximately 3,500 residents.
This new prestigious lifestyle community will feature an Ernie Els designed championship golf course, range of innovative and quality housing options, community, retail and education facilities, along with extensive recreation spaces.

The development will provide a range of high quality housing options that will be enhanced by their championship designed golf course, a range of innovative bushland, or parkfront settings.

The site is framed by the dramatic gorges of the Nepean River and Allens Creek, which provided inspiration for the project’s name.

The site will feature a championship golf course, designed by one of the world’s top ranked golfers, Ernie Els, together with a country club.

More than 300 permanent jobs will be created in Wilton, with potential of an additional 150 people working in home businesses within the community.

This community title development will ensure residents enjoy well-maintained facilities and services, including a planned leisure centre, security, pools and 120ha of protected bushland.

The Delfin Living Options Display Village at Bingara Gorge is a GreenSmart Village that also contains a Kidsafe Display Home. The Display Village, which currently features 6 homes from Sydney’s leading builders, as well as renowned local builders, is now open to the public.

We hope you enjoy this quick drive by cache near the enterance to the estate. Please be mindful of the plants near GZ.
